The Operation

Prominent ear aesthetic includes many techniques which are done without deforming the existing shape by giving an accurate and reasonable shape to the outer ear. Prominent ear aesthetic is done by giving the cartilage tissue a proper shape with a small incision in the back of the ear by entering the cartilage tissue. With this application, it is ensured that the corrected cartilage tissue is not deformed and fixed by permanent stitches. Prominent ear aesthetic also can be performed with direct permanent sutures without opening the ear skin incision. However, this is a more unhealthy method than the first one. Because these stitches can be deformed after a time and the ear can get back to its original form.

After the operation, activities such as doing sports, making sudden movements and carrying loads are prohibited within one or two weeks. The ears remain bandaged within about 2 or 3 days after the operation. During the healing process, the external ear cartilage will be swollen and red. In this case, there is nothing to worry about.
